Highlight: Campus Election

|

Posters hanging all the way like a party...

It just started as both party ( Pro-Mahasiswa and Evolusi Mahasiswa ) had promote their MPM ( Majlis perwakilan Mahasiswa ) candidates.

By the way, I just want to pass a question to all readers about;

"Which party would you choose to be the 'government'?"

of course you people would said, "it's secret!"

okay2... fine.

Just let your heart answer it on behalf of yourself and you'll express it during election day on the paper provided.
It's our responsibility to choose a person from any party to realize and fight for our right. If we choose someone that is not match with the duty or responsibility, it just nothing if you blame them one day because "The rice had already turn to porridge". the same case happen if we decided to exclude ourselves from choosing the candidate during election day.

All we need to do are, behave like a mature person which think positive in judging the candidate and do some analysis due to the manifesto and characteristic of the candidate. Other than that, we must keep ourselves open minded and behave as a person with professional manner.

Then someone would yell "For what?! Hah!?"

The reason
s are, to avoid us from become a fantastic person or easy being persuaded by someone ( worm tongue ) or even being seduced by somebody ( Corrupted people ) to support or choose the candidates or party.

People of Fanatic...

For muslim, Allah had describe our actual characteristic as ummatan wasatan which means, the middle community. According to this verse:

"To God belong both the East and the West. He guides whom He will to a straight path. Thus we have made you an ummatan wasatan (middle community) so that you may be shuhada (witnesses) over mankind, and the Apostle may be a shahid (witness) over you." (2:142-143).

Serious,we must totally remove fanaticism away because through it, we might be commit in aggressive movement, cause break in relationship and might be lost from faith.
We do 'fighting' in politician arena for ideas and right, but in real or norm world, it's nothing to do with the issues or ideas that we 'fight'. I just hope for all student to vote and choose the right figure or candidate on election day.

For that, I would like to suggest all of us to review our lovers, UTM, the mission ( to be the first class university ) and vision ( developing creative and innovative mind ) and also approach ( global outreach etc. ).So, base on that and other criteria as stated, we might be able to vote professionally.

For the members of the party and fellow mujahiddeen, be calm and be prepare where ever you are. We don't know what coming next and what 'provocation' are we going to face after this.

The Preacher of Islam(Da'ie)

|
"How can I be a caller (da’ei)? I don’t have much knowledge..."
This statement always linger around, moreover to the people who do thing for granted. They just claim this expression to show that they are so naive in describing or explaining thing. This mentality only could make people become more ‘orthodox’ rather be an advance and extraordinary moslem. Actually, this mentality could be cause by colonist idealism spread by those who against Islam.
As a moslem, we do swear and express the kalimah toyyibah “La ilaha illallah, muhummadur rasullullah (No God except Allah, Muhammad the messenger of Allah)”. So, as we already express it, automatically we are bounded from doing sinful thing and become our responsibility to spread Islam.
We should change our narrow view about Islam. Practising Islam actually cover all aspect of thing, including social, economy, politic and much more. On that cause, we can spread Islam in many field according to our expertise or our skill. What I mean, may be a person is very well in giving talk, he/she might conducting a talk kind like about current issue, or if one cannot do so, their skill might be writing, editing, they probably yield some product according to what they do.
For student especially, there is no word to say, “I can’t do this” or “I don’t know” without put an effort on it. There is also no reason to doubt in gather it. If we don’t know, study we must. If we know, do we must. We moslem youth or student should take serious this duty and must realize that we are in a great war even we found that there is no bombing, killing around us but during our time now, war is very transparent like hallucination. The war is in form of ideology and mentality.
And another (favour will He bestow,) which you do love-help from Allah and a speedy victory. So give the Glad Tiding to the Believer).” Sura As-Saff (The Battle Array,61:13)
Then Allah do continue the ayat,
O you who believe! Be you helpers to the work of) Allah: as said Jesus the son of Mary to the Disciples(Hawariyun), “We are Allah helpers!” Then apportion of Israel believed, and a portion disbelieved: but We gave power to those who believed, against their armies, and they became the ones that prevailed.” Sura As-Saff (61:14)
Carrying the responsibility in being a caller of Islam is not such an easy task, we need to be patience and well prepare in all aspect and view. Due to this challenge and test, Allah had stated in Sura Furqan(The Criterion) ayat 31:
Thus we ha we have made every prophet an enemy among the sinner: but is your Lord to guide and help
This ayat had remind us that we are facing same tribulation as what our prophet face in spreading Islam. Based on some example and points discussed, we should struggle, take risk and sacrifice many thing toward triumph.

We are the Generation of Righteous

|
"Ayyuhasy Syabab! Ma tantazhir?! Hayya bil jihad!" Meaning: "O you young people, what are you waiting for?! Let’s answer the jihad!" Deep in my heart, I keep repeating this ‘spell’, I do ‘cast’ to keep myself always remember the purpose why I was sent to this world? Who am I? Which path should I take...? All this question remind me to what I swear 5 times(compulsory) Inna solati, wanusuki, wamahyaya, wamamati lillahi rabbil ‘alamin... Meaning: “For sure my prayer, my submission, my life and my death because of Lord of Universe...” Sometimes, I blame myself because of not acting what I’m already swore. I should not fear to any provocation because it could not harm me even a single scratch. I do believe in destiny and believe that everything done upon me is nothing to do with any form of life, which mean like Ibnu Abbas reported : Allah's Messenger (sallallahu alaihi wa-sallam) said in his advice to Ibn Abbas (radhi allahu anhu), “I'hfath (remember or observe the commands of) Allah and He will Ya'hfath (direct His care and aid at) you. I'hfath Allah and you will find Him with you (by His Aid, Knowledge and Protection). When you invoke, invoke Allah alone, and when you ask for help, ask Allah alone. Know that if the nation (meaning mankind and Jinn) came together to bring you benefit, they can never bring you any benefit except that which Allah has written for you. And if they came together to harm you, they will never be able to harm you, except what Allah has written for you. The pens have already been raised (i.e., stopped writing/lifted) and the pages have dried.” [Musnad Ahmad and at-Tirmidhee] All the tribulation that challenge us whether we realize or not, must be taken as an advantage by manipulate it or make it as a mechanism to ‘revive our spirit’ and to create paradigm move toward the triumph. If we open our mind widely, there still many simple matter that we talk about or sometimes seriously discuss, even there are ‘big dinosaur’ that we need to counter. Does not mean that we don’t care about an ‘ant’, but the thing that we should focus must be according to the priority and consideration. This matter already discuss by Dr. Yusof Al-Qadhrawy. Everything is there, only depend on us to take it for granted or take it as benefits. All what I mention above cannot just imagine but must be done step by step because it is too technical, need to be patience and need real strength physical and mental. Remember that our passionate and love to the Creator, which will lead us to rise as the best ummah (generation/group of people).
