Ya Muhammed 1 comments

Proudly present in very historical month Rabiul Awal, where the month of the born of our beloved Prophet Muhammad p.b.u.h [ Peace Be Upon Him ], the remix of Sufism dance with the Sufism musical. Such a passionate dance and the song, the voices deep touching my inner soul. During explore youtube, I found the documentary about sufi dance in Turkey and an energetic Sufism musical entitled, "Ya Muhammed" by Ilahi Abdurrahman Önül. So, I decided to combine into one 'WoW' video clip using Ulead Video Studio. This video clip also being inspired by Shaikh Nazim and his famous thoriqah, Naqashabandi.  Stay tune and enjoy it =)

Holy Places in 3D 0 comments

Just exploring Google Earth with advanced and enhanced 3D model. The model suit the monument or building. Most probably, the model was created using Google Sketch Up. I used the software before in developing UTM Delivery Game. The software is easy to use and very user friendly.

There are a few place that I visit using Google Earth which come out with very clear 3D building model and almost the same picture as the real one on earth. There are Masjidil Haram in Mecca, Masjidil Nabawi in Medina, Masjidil Aqsa and Dome of Rock in Palestine and Golden Dome in Vatican City. Here are some image generated from Google Earth:

RM200 Coupon Redeem! 2 comments

At last! RM200 coupon redeemed! Treebeard said: "Don't be Hasty, booraroom..." Last time in MPH Taman Universiti, I spend about RM100 for books and magazines and another RM74 for Islamic and Politic genre. Thanks to our Prime Minister for providing students the coupon even in this peak our, student tend to against the government. It is not about that 'mental picture', student is just another entity that speak for what they observe, research and judge to provide balance and well organize system in our beloved country, Malaysia.

Just a simple quotation which from my view, "Student is a person who seek knowledge by many sources via observation, research, study, analysis and such for own self altogether with people around.  The process never end even the doctrine of The Elder in high council immobilize students mind. I believe and always believe, with the right guidance students be able to construct the hope of Rakyat this time and in the time they rule the country."

Back to the coupon, I had noticed that the coupon just valid until March 2012. So, I planed to go to MPH by this weekend. At first, I thought I wanted to buy a 'bundle' of books but seems that there are already books on my bookshelf, I certainly change my mind to buy about 1-3 books with price exceeding RM200. About the book genre, I think I should choose management and entrepreneurship books or magazine genre as I'm very bad in that field. It is time to improve myself and prove that I can do it!

MDP Quiz 2 Answer Reveal! 1 comments

1. Nyquist Theorem or theorem of sampling says that if a signal to be imitate digitally correct than the sampling size should be 2 times the original signal.

2. Given an original signal with frequency in between 20Hz to 20 000Hz, the suitable sampling rate used to digitize the signal based on the theory of sampling is 40Hz to 40 000Hz.

3. Y is sampled at 15 000Hz
a) Play in between 0.2 to 2.0 seconds
wavplay(Y(0.2 x 15000 : 2.0 x 15 000), 15000)
wavplay(Y(3000 : 30000), 15000)

b) Sample in between 0.2 to 2.0
-> (2.0 – 0.2) x 15000 = 1.8 x 15000), 15000)
-> (2.0 x 15000) – (0.2 x 15000) = 30000 – 3000 = 27000

c) Playback effect
-> If the value of playback is lower than the signal for example 8000Hz the sound will be slower or lower pitch
-> If the value of playback is higher than the original signal for example 20 000Hz than the sound play will be faster of higher pitch

4. v = [9700 19000 23000 31700];
    u = [9900 11000 20000 23200 33700 36100 3800];

-> In time (divide by 16000)
v = [0.6062 1.1875 1.4375 1.9813]
u = [0.6188 0.6875 1.2500 1.4500 2.1063 2.2563 2.3750]
So from the question, these information can be directly extracted
p = 4; // number of reference points
n = 7; // number of auto segmentation points

Calculate match at 0.05 by calculating the difference between reference points and auto segmentation points. The easiest way is by developing the difference table between auto and reference points.

m = 2
i = n – m = 7 – 2 = 5
o = p – m = 4 – 2  = 2
p(m) = m/p x 100 = 2/4 x 100 = 50%
p(i) = i/n x 100 = 5/7 x 100 = 71.4%
p(o) = o/p x 100 = 2/4 x 100 = 50%

5. The information can be extracted from the question. Total signal. S = 8000 x 2.0 s = 16000 samples
Size of processing windows, N  = 8000 x 40ms = 320 samples
Size of overlapped windows, m = 8000 x 20ms = 160 samples
Number of auto correction p=12
Number of N in the signal can be calculated based on this formula

nN = ((S –m) / N) x 2
nN = ((16000 – 160)/ 320) x 2
nN = 15840/320 x 2
nN = 49.2 x 2
nN = 99

So, the number of features vector is N x p = 99 x 12 = 1188
The compression ratio is original signal = 16000 sample value
Compressed signal = 1188 sample value
So, compression ratio (16000 – 1188) / 16000 x 100 = 92.6%

P/s: Good Luck for final exam! Please share more notes and tips hehe... =)

The Nine Over Ten 0 comments

The Nine Over Ten, hurm. very interesting right. If you pass an examination with flying color,  it could be in the range of nine over ten right? However, this entry was non of exam thing, I had no interest to talk about it. The nine over ten that I intended to share right here is the 9/10 of our wealth and provision comes from running FAIR BUSINESS as being taught by our Holy Prophet Muhammad pbuh 1400 years ago. The point is, it is not just only business, I had emphasized the word FAIR then only the business we run wouldn't be such a treachery, misleading, and ruin to others in any manner. Allah had forbidden all man kind from doing mischief, corruption and gambling as these habit doesn't proven to give benefit actually and even worst. Everything that being describe in Holy Qur'an and As-sunnah and altogether some prophecy that being foretold is to help all the creation to be granted His love and submit themselves to Almighty Lord where we came from and to Him we submit.

So far, for kick start, we might want something that worth us in running a business, something like gain more profit. Before that, we must know that doing fair business face lots of risk as it suit with the profit we target. We might be tested with some failure or loss. A very strong heart should not be affected by loss and failure as one will kept trying until succeed. So, the skill in management and emotional control play some rule here. We might learn from our own mistake but The Wise, learn from others mistake. Books, magazines, web pages or any form of information shall be our 'friend' to keep in save track in doing this fair business. One more important thing is our submission to after doing effort, insyaAllah, we will succeed.

That is the theory and some tips reveal but to make it real, plan and implement it. Good Luck! Good Life!
